NEW RING
 
Clare's New ring...
She didn't want us to take closeups.
Too personal, she said.
 
So we had to be satisified with the longer-distance regular candid shots showing the diamond ring in front of her silvery wedding band. Clare didn't know the cut. In our 2 brief close looks, it was roundish, probably billiant or tiffany cut or some variation - based on our limited diamond experience.
 
 
Amd it was pretty big.
 
She showed us that tiny diamonds started at the large one and continued in several rows all the way around the ring.
 
Clare said Brian bought it the week before the wedding - on his own.
And she was very happy with it. She usually wears the original sapphire
engagement ring on her right hand, but had forgotten it this trip.
 
CALLIE
 
Yes, she said her sister Callie was her Maid of Honor in the 10/29/05 Pasadena wedding.Only family & a few friends were at the wedding. She had to rush back to work in "The Thirst" Monday. And had pulled the wedding back from Nov to October because of the movie work.
 
So we asked her whan Callie was going to get married.
 
Clare laughed and said, "She'll have to start dating first!" [Callie is a lawyer in NYC, living in Clare's old NYU Mahattan apartment - see the 2004 Columbus event for Callie & their family photos]
 
 
Clare also emphasized she wasn't pregnant - yet.
But she was going to plan for a family in the future.
 
CLARE'S NEW CAT CAP
 
 
A teen girl had showed Clare one of these caps earlier.
 
Having bought it out on the floor somewhere. Before we left for the day, we went out and found Clare one of the caps and gave it to her. That got another hug and the photo.
 
Not a particularly good photo because it was without flash and we'd forgotten we had cranked in magnification for a prior shot. Hence, the lack of good definition, even with some enhancing & size reduction.
 
But Clare was happy and the cap is cute.
So we told her she could now be a cat - like Zoey & Waker
- who are doing fine, she said.
