Clare & Brian Photos - Marriage Date Set for 11/12/05

As promised, we finally got photo things ironed
out with Clare the last FULL day of the Slayer Cruise
on Friday.

Clare said, just choose good ones (of her and producer Brian
Keathley).

(Like we'd not, after all these years...)

Including the ones we've been sitting on since April in Vegas.
Per our agreement with her.

We're working on the photos & vignettes
for the last 3 cruise days that we didn't get a chance to
report on from the ship itself.

And will be updating Clare's 2005 events schedule

CLARE'S RINGS

Clare refused to let Brian replace the two sapphire engagement rings
with larger diamond rings. Too many sentimental memories,
she said.

Both were bought at the last minute on the ship before Brian proposed
to Clare on the Egyptian photoshoot cruise last Nov 2004. He'd tried
to buy a diamond ring ashore in Egypt, but could never get alone from
Clare long enough.

Clare said she thought he was joking at first when he dropped to one
knee aboard the photoshoot cruise ship. Since they'd had a serious
relationship since Halloween 1999, but had never talked of marriage.

Clare took off and showed us her second ring, the one with the row of
sapphires. It's actually made up of segments. And is flexible, not
solid.

Very ingenious.

Clare's not sure how she's going to wear her existing rings with a
wedding band. She also bought a ring with 3 diamonds in a spray
(visible in some photos we haven't put up yet) that she said
represent Past, Present and Future.

MARRIAGE DATE SET

Clare was initially a bit coy about the date, then told everyone.

Until finally it was used by Vulkon MC Dizzy in jokes. Where he said
we all love Clare - and like Brian because Clare is marrying him in
November.

Clare bought their wedding bands on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
And they had already set the marriage date as Nov 12. 2005 in, as we
recall, Pasadena, CA.

This is almost exactly a year after their engagement.

She said we would be invited, of course.
