Hello all,
I am looking forward to another year of the 48 Hour Film weekend and
all the fun, how `bout you?!
This will be my third year, as it is for some of you reading this. My
goal with this posting is to get on board with a team that has been in
this before as well.
My experience previously in these years were with The Countering
Group: Terminal Count with Lonna, Eric, KK, Jenny, Lance and others,
where I even played an on-screen part and my name was used throughout
the film.
This past year I was with Team Orville and Wilbur: Corporate Ladder,
which consisted of Jerry, Laura, David, Frank, and many more. I have
been fortunate to enjoy the people I worked with and have a lot of fun.
My qualifications are as follows:
Extensive experience in makeup, I have a passion for making people
look beautiful through cosmetics. It is an art form and I'm very good
at it and professional.
I come to the set well prepared and quiet. I know my place is to keep
those in front of the camera looking good and fresh. I also do a
variety of special effects make up using latex, blood and color and
can offer some hair and wardrobe/styling.
I use MAC cosmetics and work as a make up professional in business,
offering private training, helping actresses make professional
portfolios and designing web sites for them as well as musicians and
other professionals. In addition, I keep busy doing movies and
freelance work in area stores. I am fast and creative.
I worked on many special projects and eight movies in 2004, including
two full-length features as key make up artist.
A Southern Ohio Film Association board member and producer of music
and film festivals such as the "Queen City Film and Video Festival", I
bring attention to detail provide enthusiasm and know-how to any
project. I know a lot of makeup tricks and know how to keep actors
looking (and smelling) their best.
