Last year I directed a short film for the 48Hour Film Festival. I am
actually doing it again this year. I guess I like pain, but the chaos
of it all was worth it. You may remember my team, we are The
Insomniacs. The film was shown at the Madison Theater in September,
2004, it was called "This Is Your Lucky Day." A short about a guy who,
basically and accidentally, has a one night stand with a woman who he
finds out was actually a drag queen. And yes, the drag show was real.
We were mentioned in the Enquirer twice.
If anyone is interested, especially my cast and crew from last year
please contact me ASAP. Let me know what you are wanting to do, if you
want to be cast or crew, if you have any equipment, anything you can
tell me would be great.
Thanks again, Pilar Productions
Oh, for those of you who have never done this before it is all based on
a volunteer basis. That is one of the rules of the 48Hour Film
Festival.
