im from singapore. back here the film production industry isnt exactly a big hit (somehow) however people here love to watch movies and i believe that its the general trend around the world as countries start developing and film standards continue to climb.
to me it makes absolute sense to pay between 7 - 10 dollars to watch a multi million dollar production (and i absolutely love it) as compared to paying 80 dollars to watch a musical that didnt even spend a million dollars on production.
Having said that i know that Christian Film production always faces limited budget. I believe some of us are trying to change that here because i really believe that this is the generation that will see God's grace work miraculously in such radical ways and i personally believe (together with my church) that prosperity comes with the blessing of being a christian. Prosperity here encompasses finances although not limited to. It basically means an abundance in every area. If you lack love you need an abundance of love. and if you need finances you also need an abundance of it. Besides it is biblical. God blesses people with finances. see abraham, solomon, david and all the other great men.
So yes. i want film makers and their crew to be blessed. I want to see Gospels go out into the nation through high quality film with big budgets! and i want the people to see God in a new perspective, in an entertained manner the way the bible was written!
If you need to believe in finances for your film project. Join me! together with winton and daniel, we are praying via email for God's abundance in finances for us to do just those 3 great pointers that ive mentioned.
It starts with believing in it (whatever you want) and then knowing that God wants it for you too.

Hello everyone at CF!Here in Europe we have an event and organisation called CEVMA - Christian European Visual Media Association with an annual conference in September (this year in Scotland, last year in Romania, year before in Switzerland) which is great for networking with people with different skills and different organisations - many come from the U. S. There's even a film festival attached every other year. Last year we had the world premiere of the animated version of Romanian pastor Richard Wurmbrand's life (author of "Tortured for Christ").Blessings.D. Hi Brandon:I don't know if there are any Christian Film Organizations yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if one or two are started soon. I wouldn't mind organizing one, but that would have to be after I've made a film or two.Date: Saturday, July 4, 2009, 3:00 PM

It looks like there a lot of people out there who want to use and develop their talents to bring people to Christ through film. Is there a unifying or coordinating organization to help direct efforts? I know God is THE DIRECTOR, but He often works through us. And if we take Paul's analogy of the body and it's members, it sounds like there a lot of toes, arms, and ears out there doing their best to serve, but that much more could be done if people's efforts and talents were synergestically coordinated into complete body.
Has anyone tried to do something like this? What would be the pro's and con's?
