Nah don't be guilty without cause, just do your best, brother. It takes a measure of faith for someone to step out to do something God called them to do without the means to see it completed. It happens that way so that God, not man, can get the glory. But there are times when someone who does have the means sees the passion of the one who doesn't and funds it.
Maybe there is someone on here who has that ability, but just hasn't come across that individual whose passion is the key to their generosity. All it really takes is a boy with 5 loaves and 2 fish. When God gives the increase, it produces a meal for thousands. And the return is pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
I'm very passionate about what I do, but until that person who has the means to allow this passion in me to flurish comes along, I have to let my passion fuel the fire. So, my brother, take comfort in this. I say this all the time. God is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. He started the work in you, and He is faithful to finish it.
Hopefully, I can finish putting together the trailer for the upcoming series, MANIFESTATIONS, here in a couple of weeks. I have an announcement trailer, but it doesn't have any footage, really. This one will be top class, my friend. Keep an eye out for it soon.
God bless!

Subject: [Christian Movie Making Forum] Re: Is there a unifying or coordination organization for Christian Filmmakers?
I feel guilty when I hear people ask these questions. I wish I can do something to unite with others and help. But I gottah say, that I had to wait and pray for direction. I just filmed a short film called, Nena (www.nenatheshortfi lm.blogspot. com). I got so hooked up on that short, that I am on my next Nena sequel. I personally need help with this short. I want to help others. But I don't think that I have the money to travel. This last short, by God's mighty Grace, cost me $200 the most. On another note, I am finding people who are willing to help me here in Jacksonville, but still missing some good talent, like lighting crew, makeup artists, and good actors.
What exactly were you thinking about doing in a collaboration?

Is there a unifying or coordinating organization to help direct efforts? I know God is THE DIRECTOR, but He often works through us. And if we take Paul's analogy of the body and it's members, it sounds like there a lot of toes, arms, and ears out there doing their best to serve, but that much more could be done if people's efforts and talents were synergestically coordinated into complete body.
