   I'm Alex Beard, a composer who provides original music for film, television, commercials, and more. This is my debut post as a member of this Yahoo! group, and I'd like to take this opportunity to do a shameless self-plug. :)
   No, seriously, I'm a devout Christian who is interested in working with other Christian filmmakers. I hang out a lot on the Christian Filmmakers Forum  (you should check it out, if you don't already hang out there). I have no problem working with unbelievers and/or on "non-Christian" projects, but I would love to see the overall quality of "Christian" entertainment increase dramatically so it could fairly hold its own as a genre, so I'm considering devoting more of my career to contributing to "Christian" projects.

I also have a CD of my concert music, all of which on this CD is based on Christian stories and themes, so you may be interested in that as well. As you'll likely be able to tell, I specialize in orchestral/instrumental scoring, although I can and do bring in other instruments and ensembles as needed per project (choir, middle-eastern and eastern instruments, a rock band, synthesizers, middle-eastern vocals, etc.)
