Hey Steve! I Definitely am one lucky dude and I can understand how
ya feel. For years, I used to look at fans in pics w/Carla & be sooo
damn envious of them. No longer though. I can "finally" say
that i'm one of the lucky few who have met her. I'm sure it's no
big deal to Carla, but for me, it was one of the highlights of my
life & is something I won't ever forget.
Now, to answer your questions:
-Is she as pretty in person as she is in all her photos?
In a word...Yes! It was kinda funny cuz when I asked her if I could
get a pic with her, she said yes but seemed a lil self-conscious
about the way that she looked. Can u believe someone that looks like
her would feel that way? She said something like "I'm not looking
real great right now but ok, sure." I reassured her that she looked
great & that she also looked alot better than me so she had nothing
to worry about. She laughed at that & then we stood next to each
other & put our arms around each other. OMG!!! This was BY FAR the
highlight of my trip! :) I don't think i'll ever wash that shirt
again! Haha.
-How tall is she??
One thing that really struck me when I met her was how short &
petite she was. She made me feel pretty tall & i'm only about 5'9".
I don't mind that one bit though. I'd say she's about 5'4" tall and
about 125-135 lbs. She was so petite that I kept telling
myself "don't squeeze her arm too tight, you might hurt her!" And
that's not a good way to make a great first impression! LOL So I
was very gentle with her.
-Is she really a nice person?
Yes, she is a very nice & down to earth person. Which is pretty
amazing in this day & age. She may work with alot of famous &
beautiful people & live a glamorous lifestyle at times, but I can
tell that she hasn't let her fame & success go to her head. The fact
that she makes time for her fans even though she's in a hurry and
rides a round in NYC taxi cabs instead of limos is proof of that. I
would've loved to have talked to her alot more cuz I had so many
things I wanted to ask her about & tell her. But I could tell she
was kinda in a hurry so I didn't want to hold her up. Hopefully,
I'll see her again someday & have more time with her cuz she's not
only easy on the eyes but a joy to be around.
"I really would like to meet her one day."
If I can meet her, than you definitely can too. Don't give up!
