Well everybody, I just got home tonight from seeing Carla's final
performance of "Desire Under the Elms" & I gotta say, it was even
better than the last play that I saw her in a couple yrs back. As
always, Carla looked fantastic (even better in person) & her
performance was Incredible. Very intense & passionate acting not only
by Carla but Brian Dennehy & the rest of the cast as well. So i'm
really glad that I went & hope that some of you got a chance to see
her as well becuz it may be several yrs before she does another play.
Especially now that her career is in full swing. But if you missed
her this time around, don't worry. Carla has done 3 plays now & I get
the feeling that she will very likely do another one within a few yrs
because she loves the theatre.

As if seeing Carla in the play wasn't exciting enough, I got to meet
her again! :) Unfortunately I didn't get to say a whole lot to her
because there were at least 15 people waiting for her & the rest of
the cast in the lobby & I could tell that she wanted to get through
the crowd & back to her hotel as soon as she could but she was very
nice to everybody & just like the last time I saw her, she took time
for her fans. Some of the group were autograph hounds who each
brought several pics of Carla to sign & they swarmed around her like
bees swarm around honey as soon as she appeared. But I still managed
to get close to her & tell her that I thought she was amazing in the
play & that I was a big fan of hers. She smiled & thanked me for the
compliment & then gave me her autograph. I thanked her for that & then
she walked away & signed some more autographs. I was pretty content
with what I had just gotten but still wished that I could get another
pic with her cuz I knew that this opurtunity doesn't come along very
often. So I walked up to her & asked her if she would & much to my
surprise she said "Ok, Let's do it!" :) To say I was kinda in shock
would be an understatement but I somehow managed to stand next to her
& get one of those autograph hounds to take the picture of us with my
camera. Am I a lucky guy or what? LOL So make sure to come have a
