The reason this is being done, is so the name of the group will be UNIFORM with Liza's Official U.S. website -- which is

So it seemed logical to keep the name of Liza's Official Yahoo Group / e-mail group, the same name as her official website, to hopefully have less confusion.

This "old" version of the Group (CareerOfLizaMinnelli) will remain online, but it will not be active, nor will it accept new members / subscribers.
