Tragic news for the filmmaking community. Film Critic Alexis Tioseco and his girlfriend Nika Bohinc were murdered last night at their home at Times Street, Quezon City. I'll just quote Ewong Martinez from his Facebook status: "Just heard this report over DZMM Tele-radyo: One of the maids (Magdalena) was kept in the room and gagged. There are 4 suspects; apparently, the other maid (Criselda) was the one who let in the three robbers. Later, Magdalena heard gunshots when Alexis and Nika had arrived....... The suspects got away with a white Ford Lynx. Magdalena then struggled out and called for help."

Let us pray for Alexis, Nika and their families, and for the swift apprehension of the culprits...
