The Buffalo International Film Festival is a yearly event of Buffalo International Film Festival, Inc. a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in the public interest. The festival corporation was founded January 21, 2005, but the effort was begun in 2003.

BIFF 2012: BxNF, The Sixth Annual Buffalo International Film Festival will take place in late September 2012 in Buffalo, NY, United States.

The Buffalo Film Festival also puts on special events throughout the year. These include instructional workshops and screenings by top industry professionals and special film series through The Buffalo Film Society, a membership organization and its sister organizations The Niagara Falls Film Society and The Buffalo-Niagara Film Society.

This moderated list will provide announcements and information about the activities of committees connected with the festival, events planned, special discounts for members of this list, and special events only for members.

The group will also maintain archives of information relevant to the festival and links to interesting and related websites.
