Dear BUCKYSTEIN FANS:
BUCKYSTEIN is almost complete. Janet Kjelland (Our Editor) and I are going in to work on the movie late this afternoon. At this point all the scenes are ready and we just need to eliminate any technical glitches and assemble the picture. There is a slight chance we will be done but most likely we will hit an impasse and have to wait until next weekend to finish. It could be longer.
The reason I have not set a date yet for a premier is that when we have a tech problem at this late in the proses we really cannot move on and work on something else. We have to wait for an expert usually Eric Allen of WYOU to have time in his busy schedule to bail us out.
The problems at this point are of two different kinds. The first is caused by some rumors I can't go into yet that we are going to have access to a large video projector. That means that
things on the edges of the movie that can't be seen on a TV will show up.. I ignored these up until know because I was unaware they mattered. On these we just need to zoom in a little .
The second type are a mystery to me. A scene that we are done with and have scene numerous times will all of a sudden reject a video or audio track and say it cannot find it or cannot run it. Then we wait for Eric to trouble shoot it and move forward.
There will most likely be at least a four week notice of the premier. I will call everyone who filled out a tryout sheet and post it on this site.
Wish us luck,
Geoff
