I remember that episode. Ma was praying for strength to avoid
temptation.

Let me explain why I am selling Fanzines. My aunt recently passed
away quite suddenly. She and her sisters were into Fandom for all
sorts of tv series and movies. I am selling her Fandom collection
that dates all the way back to the late 1970s. Since my mom and my
other aunt are no longer in fandom, I am offering the zines for sale
to hopefully permanent loving homes.
With that said, please read on....
PLEASE BE ADVISED: That I skimmed through these zines to find any
explicit sex, sometimes reading the zines backwards to catch them,
and if it didn't jump out at me, then I did NOT note it. If I have
mislabeled a zine ADULT or not labeled an ADULT zine appropriately,
will those who know the fandom better than I email me and KINDLY let
me know which zine and the discrepancy and I'll fix it.
I DO NOT and WILL NOT xerox copies OF ANY zine.
I have the following Buck Rogers Fan Zines for Sale....
PRICE: $5.00 USD. TITLE: Nemesis. ZINE COPYRIGHT: N/A. FORMAT:
Stapled Binding. PAGES: 105.
PRICE: $5.00 USD. TITLE: On the Wings of the Wind. AUTHOR:
Trinnette Kern. COPYRIGHT: 1983. FORMAT: Stapled Binding.
PAGES: 111.
PRICE: $5.00 USD. TITLE: Of Other & Such #1. ZINE COPYRIGHT:
1984. FORMAT: Strip Binding. PAGES: 126.
PRICE: $5.00 USD. TITLE: Of Other & Such #2. Zine Copyright:
N/A. FORMAT: Strip Bound. PAGES: N/A.
If you are SERIOUSLY interested in any of these zines (or all of
them), please EMAIL ME (NOT THE LIST) with your selection(s) along
with your COMPLETE MAILING ADDRESS with ZIP CODE and COUNTRY to help
me calculate shipping costs for you. ALSO, when emailing me, please
put "Blake's 7 Zines" or something similar in the subject, as I have
1700 fan zines inventoried in DIFFERENT series.
Thank you.

Even during the show he wasn't exactly a body builder. After he did
a show about ecology police that only lasted maybe 5 episodes. he
was showing then. Erin was a burnette in her other TV series and
movies. I was thinking that may be her original color.

I've read his Rebellion 2450. He is a good author and the family did
license him. He just ates the characters in a different direction.
In Rebellion 2450 he used elements from the original book and
developed them with the kind of updating used in the TV series.
Maybe truer to the Original material in spirit then some, but not
what most would be used to. If you can get a copy of the original
Armegedon 2415 you will she what I mean.

Hi Everyone,
Besides Science Fiction I like to keep up with waht is happening on
the Anime scene. Recently I was looking at Cartoon Network's Big O.
I noticed the open theme was from Flash Gordon the Movie and parts
of the soundtrack were from Gerry Anderson's UFO. The plot about a
group of people being isolated by manipulation vaguely reminds one
of the Prisoner. Then their are the giant robots known as
Megadeuces. Does anyone remember Gigantor, Johnny Soto, or Tranzor Z.
Given the present level of writing in American animated series,
overall it wasn't bad. Most of it has been done ,some as Batman the
Animated Series. What are some of the rewrites of old material you
have found out there? Are there any that come close to the original.
JP
I don't know if they are listed on one of the servives like Columbia
House, but I've picked up some off of retail. Most of your chain
video stores carry one of the versions of the movie and one or two
of the compiled. I don't know why, but they edited the movie in 3 or
4 different cuts. One was released on Laser Disc, the others on
video. Each one had bits and peices left out that when all put
together would have made it a much better production. Just read the
release notes carefuly. It has beeen through a couple of different
cover jackets. Half.com is ussually a good place to find them on the
web. There may even be a fan on Kazaa, Although not having a
broadband connection I am limited in my file sharing right now.

The Sci Fi Channel Gave it a lot of play foy a while, but like the
stuios they rotate they their material so it does not get over
exposed. Unless a new version is in the mix, it should be back in a
few months. When the studios try to sell the license for a new
version the copyright negotiations often tie up older material.

Does the televison show Buck Rogers even air in the US anymore? I

Hello people,
The members list is up to twelve now. Nice to see some new people
here. Just to see if anyone reads this board i have a question for
everyone. After the original novel Buck Rogers was adapted into a
comic strip, a serial starring Buster Crabbe, a movie and TV series
starring Gil Girard, and a set of paperbacks published by TSR. The
Buster Crabbe serial and comic strip was very close to the original
book. The later movie, TV series, and books took the character in
their own direction. I am curious as to which characterization you
people liked the best and which direction any new story would take?
As always have fun and enjoy.

Hi Everyone,
Hello to the new members and I hope you all had some good times this
month. It looks like Science Fiction is popular in the movies this
year. MIB II, Attack of the Clones, this weeks Signs, and many others
are doing good in reveiws and box office. Who knows could another
Buck revival be far off. It was 20 years between installments of Star
Trek and almost 23 scince Battlestar Galactica but both carried its
fans well. Maybe a new Buck could work.
JP
Hello Everyone,
The day after after the Fourth of July and I just like to say i feel
good to be free. I spent yesterday helping my neices shot off fire
works and helping their dad to give their mom a rest. A good old
fashion holiday with steak and potato salad, then sparklers and
fountains. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves also.
