Barry Morse, in his lifetime, played well over 3,000 roles on the stage, screen, and radio in a career that spanned more than seven decades. He starred in hundreds of stage productions, including the entire cannon of William Shakespeare, as well as the plays of George Bernard Shaw and Noel Coward.
He also starred in London's West End, on Broadway, and in shows throughout the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. His final stage appearances included Love Letters, Bernard and Bosie: A Most Unlikely Friendship, Contact, and his one-man show, Merely Players.
However, Barry is probably best remembered by the general public for his television roles as 'Lt. Gerard' in The Fugitive with David Janssen, in Space: 1999 as 'Prof. Bergman' with Barbara Bain and Martin Landau; as well as The Zoo Gang and The Adventurer.
Barry also starred in numerous miniseries, including The Winds of War, War and Remembrance, The Martian Chronicles, and Frederick Forsyth's Icon.
