I think there should at least be a minimum number of years between an original film and a remake. Like, if a movie is younger than 50 years, do not remake it!...

All three are in various stages of remake possibility....I believe they are in the stage of casting robocop...and at one point were thinking of putting Michael...
Even thought I started this post I do have to defend SOME remakes to a degree. Carpenter's retelling (better than a remake) of the Thing is a decent example....
