Description

War is a terrible thing. This group has nothing in relation to promoting it, but understanding its history, through various means, whether it be fiction or non-fiction, in all it's general forms in topics related to wartime era's, probably the most notable being World War II. Relation to topic can be broad, be it through personal or past experience; favorite book or war film. I strongly encourage everyone to respect each others viewpoint. We have members from all over the world here with different opinions on subjects; and heated arguments are usually avoidable with tactfully thought out replys, and avoiding current hot topics such as current politics, or the current war in the Middle East. Messages will be moderated until your settled in. Other topics related to war or wartime on any variety of related topics are welcome here besides films, including pictures, documentaries, books, articles, games, soundtracks, and history of allies or axis, including life during wartime. I encourage anyone with a good background knowledge of history to get involved, and share views. Please also check out our links and photos section.
Providing personal opinions on films is encouraged, but remember when in a historical debate most of us did not live when many of these events took place. Provide references if questioned, and try not base your answers souly on conjecture. Please treat others here, the way you would want to be treated.
