First-Ever “ACE Technical Excellence Award� - Distinguishing It as

today announced that the ACE Board of Directors has recognized Avid® Media

Excellence Award� - recognizing it as the preferred choice of the
industry’s most acclaimed editors. This distinguished honor hails

storytelling. The honorary award will be presented to Avid at the 60th Annual
ACE Eddie Awards in February 2010.
