THE ASTRO ZOMBIES was the creation of M*A*S*H star WAYNE ROGERS (who wrote this
oddity) and cult drive in director T.V. MIKELS. And what a creation it is. THE
ASTRO ZOMBIES features almost every single 1960’s movie stereotype you can think
of. TURA SATANA (star of the drive in classic, FASTER PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL!)
wears the wildest , sexiest outfits you can possibly imagine as the head of a
spy ring out to kidnap a mad scientist played by JOHN CARRADINE, for red China
of course. He is working on transplanted body parts. There are elements of
horror,
science fiction, spy films, beach movies, bikini clad go go dancers, espionage,
monster on a rampage, slasher movies, dope fiends, mad scientist, half naked
girls on operating tables for no apparent reason - hey, welcome to my world!
