Grrrr ...Yahoooey is messing with us again...........all my groups messages are being tagged spam and going to my junk mail box........I received the message below...yes it is from someone I know....and I did what he suggested in the two groups that I run and it actually seemed to help...........

Of course I also sent a scathing letter to Yahoooey telling them that I never had a bit of trouble OR any spam til they started their spamguard program!

I have done this with my group it seems to help. It seems Yahoo is

making life fun again and now I am not able to receive yahoo mail

unless it is in digest form. So group owners and or mods if you make

this following change it seems to help!

For those with a yahoo group, this is what you do:

Go to you management section

Click on Messages

Scroll down until you see Posting and Archives (click on edit)

Under posting options under Spam guard, make sure there is a little

dot under

OFF.

***********

Dear Yahoo! Groups Members,

Yahoo! Groups is proud to announce that we've introduced

SpamGuard,

an advanced spam-control system.

Yahoo! Groups routes messages sent to your group through

SpamGuard.

If we detect that a message is spam, we will notify you and include

the message as an attachment. If you use a Yahoo! Mail email

address

for your group, these messages will automatically get routed to your

Bulk folder.

If you do not use Yahoo! Mail, or if you use POP access to read your

Yahoo! Groups messages in your email client (e.g., Outlook), you can

set up filters to route these messages to an appropriate folder,

such as "spam" or "bulk."

The introduction of SpamGuard demonstrates Yahoo!'s commitment

to

fighting spam abuse. We hope that you enjoy this new feature!
