Forgive my absence from posting here....been a crazy year for me..as
some of you know....

And I hate for one of my first few posts to be a sales pitch....but
if I could just have a moment to talk a little about a project that I
am helping get off the ground...

I've posted to the other lists I am a member of - I figure it can't
hurt to get the word out there...right?
Here's what I have posted to a couple other lists already:

Today I would like to take just a quick moment to mention a project
that I've recently been involved in. I have a friend who I met in my
favorite place to visit - Vancouver - who was recently down studying
the Mayan culture and civilization - and took some fantastic pictures
while he was there. He's trying to have the novel that he is writing
about that area published and possibly made into a
screenplay/film....that's the long term goal. The short term goal is
to try and raise some money to get the project moving. So I suggested
putting together a calendar of all his GREAT pictures and he went for
it!!

Hello Dear Friends & Friends of Friends

My name is Stacy James Fry. I'm an author living and working in
Vancouver, Canada. This year I am selling $20 dollar Mayan Calendars
to support myself as I complete and publish my novel titled, "The
Mystic of the Maya". The novel is historical-fantasy set within the
AD 9th century Maya world during the fateful collapse of their
civilization.

By purchasing one or more of these Mayan Calendars for yourself, your
relatives and/or your friends, or by pledging to sell 100 calendars

third draft of my novel within the next four months. I need all my
time to do this, and the proceeds of the calendar will go to making
this possible.
