Okay, friends, look through this article and find Alan listed here.
When you don't, please send a comment to them, telling them how
offended you are. I cannot believe that he was not listed.

LOL! I never miss an opportunity to download an awesome pic of Alan/Snape! I love the various styles the Vista screensaver goes through. Different backgrounds, layering pics and it even does some sepia and black & white cycles. It just makes me happy to watch all my favorite pics fading in and out and looking so gorgeous.

Just wondering if Alan Rickman or Snape graces anyone elses desktop or
screensaver! I have collected awesome pics of him/them and my
screensaver beautifully serves them up, one after another. I must
confess, tho, that some pics of Trent Resnor in his younger years have
found their way into the mix. I may be old, but I'm not blind!

Well it is fairly easy.

Yes he is protective of his privacy, but there are paparazzi and tabloid journalists (even in England) who don't respect that.  He has said himself about journalists going through his rubbish bins for example, and we have all seen the pap shots of him doing his shopping etc...  They would have found something if he had been in hospital for a face lift  (just go to a site like WENN and you can see all sorts of celebs being photographed leaving various hospitals after having had work done).

On top of that he still has slight jowls and slight bags under his eyes, if he had surgery to correct either then he ought to demand his money back.

Like a few people I have followed his career for a long time, around twenty years, and you can tell from the interviews over those years etc.. that he is not vain enough to have had the surgery done.  I think he would consider it a waste of money that he could better use helping others.

He also hasn't been out of the limelight for long enough to have had anything surgical done.  Even if it isn't made public knowledge he is often seen out and about.

Red carpet photographs are never the best way to judge anything, lighting is different on top of that many photographers and professional photograph websites often touch up photos.  Candid shots by fans are a better way to judge and those show that if he has done anything at all he is just using one of those moisturising creams which help "ease the signs of aging" ;-)

I could go on but I won't as I think enough of us have made the point that he has not had a face lift ;-)

I am respectfully asking, and not intending to offend anyone here.  How do you know if he has or hasn't had anything done, facelift or otherwise?  Considereing how fiercely protective of his privacy he is, how would you know?  Just curious.

I thought he looked quite good in Dark Harbor. Nice bum! But it's
my least favorite of his films at this point so I haven't watched it
a second time even though I have the DVD. It just annoyed me SO
much. Anyway, that's just me. LOL. I can't wait for Nobel Son to
come out on DVD that and Bottle Shock. Lots of new stuff to add to
my DVD collection.

At the first opportunity you have just got to see Nobel Son.  It is a really good movie, and he is so wicked in it.  Near the end you get a chance to see Alan's gorgeous legs.  They don't look like the legs of any 63 year old man I know!  He's got a lot more muscle than I would have guessed.  He should definitely were shorts and hang up the long pants.

OMG, yeah, my daughter would be very upset by that scene right in the
beginning. Right after that though, it's mostly okay. Still, I'm
not sure I'd show it to her. She's seen most of Snow Cake, though.
I keep waiting for her to ask questions about when Linda says, "Have
you ever had an orgasm." LOL. There is actually quite a bit of
Sweeney Todd she can watch. LOL.

Oh yeah, the music was so loud at times I had to cover my ears and
all that crazy fast cutting made me dizzy. Still I loved it,
though. I feel like I want to make a CD using all the hilarious
sounds AR has ever made in a film. Of course this is inspired by a
certain scene early on in the movie that I won't describe since I
don't want to spoil it for anyone. OMG!

OMG!

My son is like that. He told me after seeing HP-OOTP, "I don't get
why nobody appreciates spoilers!" He was 10 at the time and I knew
if I didn't warn him about what happens at the end of that story he'd
totally freak. As it was he cried a LOT until the action got
exciting again. Fortunately, Dumbledore shows up and fights with
Voldie within a couple of minutes. He likes spoilers. I still enjoy
things as much with spoilers, but I just love the feeling of
discovering something on my own.

I'm so confused. Was someone flaming? Did I say something that was
taken as a flame? I hope not. I didn't intend to. I didn't see
anything that looked like a flame from anyone.

LOL.

I saw "Nobel Son" yesterday.  It was great. Not as great as "Bottle Shock" but great.  There is some really really graffic stuff in it so don't take anyone under age.  We made the mistake of taking my daughter.  Luckly she was fixated on Alan, and missed most of the naughty and bloody stuff.

Live, love, laugh! :-)

I did not know he had a face lift.  I just saw a recording of his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, and he looked great.  Beautiful silver hair, drop dead smile, and he was funny too!  Can't wait to see Nobel Son.

I agree with you on everything, but I'm glad that AR had a face lift a few years ago.
He had his droopy jouls and baggy bags under his eyes lifted. He looks better.
He has the money so ...
He still looks old, but better.
I have compared certain pictures from three years ago -too pictures of him now, and
what a difference. The problem is -as my grandmaother says, it does not last..
but thats okay....

I have a cousin who is 1 year younger than me. She's 45. She looks
about as old as my 80 year old mom!!

Alan is adorable. He'll be adorable even when he's very old. People
are beautiful to me no matter what their age is. I like honest
wrinkled skin and white hair much more than the results of plastic
surgery. People get old and it's okay. It's just life. Bald spots
are cute. Toupees are really strange looking.

actually kinda cute when youre not lookin at the back of his head.
also i know a few people in their  sixties and even fifties who make
alan look forty. if you think about it, when he got older his hair
just kinda turned white. hes had thoe cute creases on his face and in-

he hasnt changed much.

Poor Alan, he really hates the idea of being so degrading to women.
I'm sure the women with whom he did those scenes didn't suffer at all
because it IS acting afterall, but I think I sort of get what he
meant when he said he felt sort of sickened by the whole thing. The
fact that there really are people who behave like Eli. I do wish
there had been a bit more of Eli being miserable. I mean what good
is it that he's lost everything if the next scene is him chatting up
yet another student. I guess it points out that he'll never change.
It's probably close to reality for someone. Having hung around
brilliant PhD scientists for more than 20 years now, I can say I've
seen some things that come quite close to Eli. LOL. He is an
exaggeration, of course, but there are some elements that are quite
close to reality. Anyway, I loved the film. I love the messy hair,
bathrobe, weird t-shirt, toothpaste on his face scene right before
Barkley abducts him. LOL. I was giggling like an idiot. My husband

I'm so confused. Was someone flaming? Did I say something that was
taken as a flame? I hope not. I didn't intend to. I didn't see
anything that looked like a flame from anyone.

he is a very distinguished and sexy 63.
