Hello, I am a local college student studying film editing and web design and I
am currently
researching internships in the area, as well as preparing my portfolio. And I am
hoping
that some local artists will be kind enough to give me some advice...

-The first thing I would like to know is what sort of tips would you give to an
aspiring
editor who is just starting out?
-What local production houses do you recommend contacting for internships? Which
ones
would you NOT recommend?
-I am well versed in Flash, Final Cut, Avid and After Effects, what else should
I have under
my belt?
-And finally anything else you would like to share.
