Each completed film is guaranteed a theatrical screening in front of a full house.
SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR
We know that you make films because of the creative rush, the camaraderie, and the amazing feeling of seeing your own work, up there on the big screen at the Sunshine Theater. BUT, this year there's more.
In addition to the Best Film of New York competing for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2007," the Top 10 teams from New York will compete against the Top 10 teams from Los Angeles and San Francisco in the Visa "Life Takes" Invitational.
This special competition will take place in September. The top 10 teams in each city will receive:
* $500 Visa Prepaid Card for production expenses.
* Invitation to the Awards Ceremony in San Francisco hosted by Visa for all Finalists from the 3 cities and their guests.
* Travel expenses to San Francisco for two guests.
And, finally...the Grand Prize winner will receive...
$10,000!!
