We're in Group C (Screening on Wednesday, May 6th, at 7pm) and unfortunately we
won't be able to attend that timeslot, because of some other crazy commitments.
We would totally love to switch for Group A or G (Tuesday, May 5th, at 7pm or

Can anybody please help us out?
Thanks.

Hi everyone!
I just joined this group recently, and would like to introduce myself. My name
is Becki Dennis. I am a union actor with professional acting experience in over
20 films, tv shows, commercials, and industrials. I recently acted in an NYU
Grad Film, and have a principal role in a national commercial for "Boys Town,"
that is currently airing. As of yet, I am not a member of a team for the
48-hour film project. If anyone is looking for another actor for their team, or
know of anyone in need of an actor, you can feel free to let them know that I am
interested and available. If you are not already aware, union actors are
allowed to work on 48 Hour Film Projects without needing to be paid.
If you would like to see my resume, headshots, and examples of my work, please
go to: www.NewEnglandActor/com/profile/BeckiDennis
You can e-mail at BeckiDennis@... or call me at my cell phone (978)
835-5661.
Thank-you, and I hope to hear from you!

Hi all--
Just in case you're not on the Boston 48HFP newsletter, the 48 Hour Film
Project is returning to Boston on May 1st through the 3rd. Slots are
going pretty fast--we've had 55 teams sign up already!
There are three ways to get involved:
1. FORM A TEAM. If you can rustle up enough folks to make a movie, great! The
project is open to pros and amateurs alike. You can register at
http://www.48hourfilm.com/boston -- but do it soon, as slots are going fast.
Then meet us on May 1st, ready to go!
2. JOIN A TEAM. If you're interested in participating, but can't form a team,
you can still definitely be involved! Here's a few ways to do it:
- COME TO AN EVENT. We'll have meet'n'greets where you can meet team
leaders and get on their teams. More info at: http://www.48hourfilm.com/boston
- PUT AN AD ON OUR WEBSITE. Visit: http://www.48hourfilm.com/join
- POST AN AD ON OUR YAHOO GROUP. Send email to:
48hourfilm-boston@...
3. WATCH THE MOVIES. Come on by to the see the movies! They will be showing at
the Kendall Square Cinema on May 5th, 6th, 7th, and 12th. (Each night is a
totally different set of movies.) More info at:
http://www.48hourfilm.com/boston
Meet other New England filmmakers, spend 48 hours in intense movie making, and
have your film screened at the Kendall Square Cinema! And compete to represent
Boston at the 48HFP national screening!

6:14 Saturday night...we are capturing some footage, and watching Spongebob at
the same
time. During a commercial break there was a bumper ad for another cartoon, the
characters
name is Higginbotham. FYI
Our team has the craptastic group G screening time, we would like
trade for ANY other day / time EVEN the uber-craptastic later-on-the-
second-Tuesday slot. Trade with us and let your poor team go home and
go to bed earlier!

Hello - I would like to switch FROM the highly desirable GROUP E to
any of the following groups: C,D,G,H. Let me know if you're
interested. Thanks! -- Jeff
Just to follow-up on this post - We are in group E (Thursday the 10th
at 7pm), looking to switch to B. While E won't work for Jay, if
you're in C and want to be in E , perhaps we could work out a
three-way swap.

Hi Fellow Filmmakers,
Some of my team members cannot make our screening, currently in Group
B - Tuesday, April 8th @ 9:30pm.
We are looking to switch places with a team in Group C - Wednesday,
April 9th, @ 7pm.
Unfortunately Group C is the only screening time slot that works for
everyone on my team.
If you are available to swap - please let me know.
Best of luck with your 48Hour Films!
Cheers,
-Jay Bell

Hi all-
The Quarter Life Crisis team is looking for actors and actresses (of all ages
and types) for
April 5th. Please email me a headshot/picture and resume or relevant website.
Thanks!
Hi All,
Another quick try here:
We are the in group H (Tuesday April 15th, 9:30pm) and we need the
Group D time slot (Wed. April 9th, 9:30pm) or Group F (Thurs. Apr
10th, 9:30pm). Much of our team works/lives in CT and will be away on
a shoot on the 15th. If we don't switch, we will miss our screening,
which will be a bit sad. If there's any chance a team wouldn't mind
having the 15th who lives in the area, we would be so grateful for the
swap!! :)
DANKE MUCH!
Happy shooting, :)

Hi,
Our Group G team's, (currently scheduled for the second week: Tuesday 4/15 at
7pm)
leaders
have travel plans during the second week of screenings. We would be grateful if
another
team would be willing to switch with us for basically any slot during the first
week
*except*
Tuesday at 7pm (B,C,D,E, or F would be fine).
If you do switch with us you'll immediately gain the following benefits.
1) Final Cut Pro Karma Gods will shine on you, particularly when you are
outputting to
tape
or DVD at 6:35pm.
2) You will have another team in the Audience, Awarding lots of love to your
film. <cough,
wink, cough>
3) You'll have the satisfaction of knowing that the 48 Hour folks had to move
around a
bunch
of text on the web site because you switched with us, since our team name is
"Team With
The Long Unabbreviatable Name That Is Difficult To Say or Print On Promotional
Materials."
Thanks!

The Long Unabbreviatable Name That Is Difficult To Say or Print On Promotional
Materials
If anyone's still looking to switch (or in need of good karma) we're in
Group E and looking to swap with someone in B or H. Group E is at 7pm
on Thursday April 10th.
Thanks,
Nathanael
We will be shooting on Panasonic P2s (AG-HVX200). We are looking for
someone to join our team who is comfortable with this camera and the
P2 Card technology.
Thank you.
