Tomorrow! Funny Shorts Made Fast: A Hurricane Katrina Benefit   Message List

Hi all--

I didn't realize this didn't go out to the yahoo group earlier--
sorry for the late notice.

I am writing to let you know that the 48 Hour Film Project and
Landmark Theaters are organizing a benefit for people affected by
Hurricane Katrina. We're showing eleven of the funniest films
made as part of the 48 Hour Film Project.

The filmmakers and the 48HFP have donated our films and our
labor. Landmark Theaters have generously donated their theater
time. 100% of the proceeds will go to a hurricane relief fund
through the American Red Cross.

"Pitch Imperfect", made by Boston's own Battleground State, will
be included. As any of you who have already seen it can attest,
that one is worth the price of admission alone.

So come on out for a good cause, and watch the adventures of
Naked Man, see robots take over cities, and hear songs of office
intrigue and mayonnaise. These films are guaranteed to make you
laugh!

Here are the details:
"Funny Shorts Made Fast: A Hurricane Katrina Benefit"
Thursday, September 29, at 7:30pm
Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 7:30pm
